The Good News!

Well, the most exciting news for us... we are a new uncle and aunty! Amelie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lila on Thursday, October 12th. In French it is pronounced "Lee-la". Very very cute! We all approve of baby Lila!


These picture is of Lila and Amelie less than 24 hours after the birth! Top shape!

So everyone has been quite baby crazy here. That's because she is so cute!




Other news, Sylvain, or rather my dad, just sold his car!!! It has been a long time coming, but finally it has been sold!


We've been biking on the local "mountain" here - the north shore of Victoriaville! There is a pretty fun trail that we ride - don't know if it has a name or not!

Biking around here in the fall is a bit different because there are so many leaves! You can totally miss large potholes or little jumps simply because the leaves make everything uniform!





This picture is of a street by Sylvain's house. It is insanely wide! I am not sure if you can really grasp HOW wide it is - but believe
me... it is a bit ridiculous! Look how small the car is on the right compared to the width of the street! Also, this is a quiet residential street!



And finally, Sylvain's house is en route to a watering hole for the migrating birds. It is a bit like the book/movie "The Birds" around here. They are everywhere! They keep telling me that more are going to come, but I had to take a picture to show you guys what is happening now!


Well, that is about it for the last week! Everyone is super happy here, and happy to have a new family member!
